What the Projections Are Based On
TCI projections are generated using competition results and scoring trends observed throughout the season.

Understanding the Projections
The Cheer Intel projections use season scoring data to estimate how divisions may perform at upcoming competitions.
The metrics below help explain how TCI evaluates projected scores, competitive separation, and potential volatility within a division.
Predicted Score
An estimated performance score based on historical scoring patterns and recent results. The predicted score represents TCI’s data-driven estimate of how a team may perform at the event.
Confidence Tier
Indicates TCI’s level of confidence in the projected leader based on the projected scoring gap.
Clear Lock → Lock → Lean → Toss-Up → Clear Toss-Up
Upset Alert
Highlights divisions where TCI analysis identifies very small projected score separation, meaning another team could realistically take first place.
Projected Podium (Top 3)
The three teams most likely to finish in the top placements according to TCI projections and season scoring trends.
Projection Note
Projections update as new competition results become available throughout the season.
